Looking for Yoga classes in Drogheda? All you need is Mahavatar Babaji’s Sun Salutation, a unique sequence of yoga postures never before taught in Ireland. Sun Salutation is a complete yoga practice, its able to revitalise the whole body in just twelve movements. We use Sun Salutation to warm up the body and then effortlessly flow into other postures such as Twists, Balances and Hip-Openers. Our classes end with a short relaxation technique to create a feeling of deep inner peace.
Benefits of yoga postures
Yoga practice gently massages the kidneys, livery, digestive organs and increases the blood flow through the whole body. The lungs are emptied of impurities and stale air and the body is revitalised by the extra supply of oxygen. Yoga harmonises the whole endocrine system and exercises all the main muscles in the body. Our yoga classes will:
- Build strength in the body
- Increase flexibility
- Stimulate and optimise digestion
- Calm the nervous system
- Improve posture and circulation
There is no other exercise that can surpass it. By practicing yoga for fifteen minutes daily, you will have sound physical and mental health throughout your life.
All classes are run on a donation basis. You are welcome to give as much or a little as you wish. Money goes towards helping cover the cost of running the event, e.g. room rental and marketing. Some money is also given to charity.
