Winter Sangha retreat in Wicklow
Join us this December for a rejuvenating winter retreat hosted by Bhakti Marga Ireland, set in the peaceful surroundings of Mucklagh Lodge, County Wicklow. Nestled in the heart of stunning natural Irish countryside, this retreat promises a perfect opportunity to reconnect with our spiritual path while enjoying the company of like-minded devotees and followers of Paramahamsa Vishwananda.

We are honoured to welcome Swami Anashuya, who will be visiting us from Bhakti Marga’s main ashram in Germany. Swami Anashuya will lead us through a range of enriching spiritual practices and activities designed to uplift and nurture the soul.
Activities to immerse yourself in over the weekend:
- Kirtan: Experience the joy and devotion of singing sacred chants in unison, allowing the heart to open and connect deeply with the Divine.
- OM Chanting Circles: Participate in this powerful group chanting technique, known for its ability to bring healing to ourselves and the environment.
- Yagna Fire Ritual: Engage in a traditional fire ceremony, offering gratitude and prayers while invoking the energies of purification and transformation.
- Group Meditation: Tap into the collective energy of the group as we meditate together, promoting inner peace and spiritual awakening.
- Satsangs with Swami Anashuya: Attend insightful spiritual talks where Swami Anashuya will share wisdom on various aspects of the spiritual journey, offering guidance and inspiration.
In addition to these spiritual activities, the retreat will also offer ample opportunities to enjoy country walks amidst the beautiful Wicklow landscape, savour delicious vegetarian meals, and connect with others in the warm and welcoming atmosphere of community.
The retreat begins on Friday afternoon, with arrivals and registration, and concludes on Sunday after lunch, allowing for a relaxed and reflective close to the weekend. Whether you are new to Bhakti Marga or a seasoned practitioner, this retreat is a chance to deepen your spiritual practice and find renewal in the tranquillity of nature.

Booking your place
We have a total of 20 residential tickets (activities, bed and food) and 10 non-residential tickets (activities and food) for people able to travel every day to the retreat centre. Tickets are issued on the first come-first served basis and when the tickets gone, they’re gone. So book early if you can – to avoid disappointment.
