What are Mantras?
Mantras are syllables or words which contain enormous power. They are tools for the calming the mind and cultivating inner peace. There are many mantras people can chant for different purposes, but Project Mantra presents to us with two sacred great mantras that deliver holistic benefits to the whole person.
Vibration transforms matter
Multiple sources of ancient scripture state that everything we see and touch, including your own self, has a vibration. Some refer to the origin of the universe as the primordial sound ‘Om’. Some call it ‘logos’, or the ‘word’. Others just ‘energy’ or ‘light’. Contemporary science uses different terms and references, but reflects the same view. Mantras can help with inner healing, mental discipline and overcoming personal difficulties in life.
Why the 40 day timeframe?
A wise sage once said “Freedom does not come from doing what you want, real freedom comes from discipline”. If people want to feel the effects from a regular meditation practice, a sustain period of time is required to notice a difference. 40 days is a manageable time-frame for most people to accomplish and experience the benefits first-hand. Mediation creates unity of mind and heart, and brings inner stillness that is difficult to explain in words. Continuous repetition of mantra over a 40 day period creates a state of perpetual meditation and deep concentration in which the mind becomes sharp and focused.
