DESCRIPTION:You are invited to a Kirtan Session in the heart of Cork City Centre! Kirtan is a spiritual practice at the core of devotional yoga. Immerse yourself in the sounds of the harmonium\, the rhythmic clash of cymbals\, and the resonances of the mridangam drum as we partake in our unique call-and-response chanting event.\nSanskrit Mantra Meditation: 2:00 – 3:00pm\n\n\nTo open our event\, we invite you to join us in a powerful Mantra meditation using the Vishnu Sahasranama. Vamadev will lead the chanting of the Sahasranama\, calling participants to listen deeply to the sacred sounds of the Sanskrit Mantras. This ancient chant is known to invoke prosperity and abundance\, dispelling negativity and misfortune. Allow yourself to be enveloped by the soothing vibrations\, as they cleanse your mind and spirit\, leaving you with a sense of inner peace and renewed energy. This meditation will serve as a beautiful and fitting start to our afternoon event.\nKirtan session: 3:00 – 4:30pm\nUnlike a traditional concert\, where the music is performed to an audience\, Kirtan is all about group participation. Whether you’re an accomplished musician or someone who simply loves to sing along\, this event welcomes all to contribute to the collective experience.
