Bhakti Marga invite you to an illuminating, practical and spiritually uplifting Satsang event in Dublin city centre. Satsang is a discourse, question / answer and sharing experience designed to evoke thought, transfer ancient spiritual wisdom and advance participants on the spiritual path.
In this event, we shall explore the core philosophy and application of Karma Yoga to modern day life. Karma Yoga is one of the main Yogas taught in the Bhagavad Gita and is a practical way to live life in a state of acceptance, love and harmony with your surroundings. The Satsang will be facilitated by Swamini Karuna who will be traveling from her London ashram to Dublin for events throughout the weekend.
Special meditation session: Swamini Karuna has said she will teach a meditation technique at the end of her talk to cultivate inner stillness, share love with others and focus the mind on the Divine within – The Atma. We look forward to seeing you there.
Swamini Karuna was drawn to spirituality as a young child and hoped to find the meaning of life during her studies in Western philosophy. However, she knew there was something missing in the academic world and realised it did not have all the answers, despite the wealth of philosophy literature available. It was dominated with rational and logic but it had no ‘heart’.
Swamini Karuna spent most of her career managing the largest and most successful complementary health clinic in Europe. Based in West London, the clinic served many of the city’s population and helped heal those seeking alternative treatments for numerous illnesses.
In recent years Swamini Karuna has set up a Bhakti Marga ashram on the outskirts of London. The ashram offers daily prayers, yoga, meditation, chanting and hosts many spiritual festivals throughout the year. Swamini Karuna has dedicated her time to serving spiritual seekers and transferring her knowledge of Eastern philosophy to help people rediscover the unconditional love deep within their heart.
